Report: Hammer poised for exit

Arthur Masuaku could be set to leave the club this week, according to a new report.

A report in Turkey – which should be taken with a pinch of salt, because their reliability is often questionable – claims that Besiktas have made a loan bid to sign Masuaku.

They are said to have reached an agreement with the Irons over a deal, which is said to include an option to buy him at the end of the season.

The full-back has certainly been placed on the transfer list this summer and there is a willingness to let him go.

It remains to be seen if he will be allowed to go on loan but it may well be a case of beggar’s cant be choosers, with Masuaku potentially moving to one of the few clubs who have expressed an interest.

As we’ve said, we do need to take this one with a pinch of salt but there is absolutely a ring of truth to Masuaku being allowed to leave.
