Report: Hammers chase another striker

The Hammers are looking to strengthen their attacking line-up and Boniface has emerged as one their targets for the role of centre-forward although a deal for Ibrahim Osman is also reported to be very close.

Boniface, 23, has been in excellent form this season, scoring 16 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions for Leverkusen. His impressive performances have caught the attention of West Ham, who are currently CLAIMED to be in negotiations with the German club.

Boniface’s contract with Leverkusen runs until June 2028, which means West Ham will have to make a significant financial offer to secure his services.

Boniface’s current injury, an abductor problem he sustained in December is not seen as a major problemĀ  and he is expected to be back in action in the near future with West Ham confident on that front.

With the January transfer window nearing its end, West Ham are eager to finalize the deal for Boniface. and the addition of the young striker would be a major boost to their attacking options and end the striker issues once and for all, HOPEFULLY.
