Report: Hammers chase another striker
Boniface, 23, has been in excellent form this season, scoring 16 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions for Leverkusen. His impressive performances have caught the attention of West Ham, who are currently CLAIMED to be in negotiations with the German club.
Boniface’s contract with Leverkusen runs until June 2028, which means West Ham will have to make a significant financial offer to secure his services.
Boniface’s current injury, an abductor problem he sustained in December is not seen as a major problem and he is expected to be back in action in the near future with West Ham confident on that front.
With the January transfer window nearing its end, West Ham are eager to finalize the deal for Boniface. and the addition of the young striker would be a major boost to their attacking options and end the striker issues once and for all, HOPEFULLY.
No chance this is happening in Jan – Lovely though that would be. We would need to sell 3 players for a decent sum and there isnt enough time. Philips and one other 9not a striker0 is my prediction
