Report: Hammers could go back for United ace

West Ham could make another move for Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the January transfer window, according to a new report from The Athletic.

The right-back has slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford and has only played four minutes of football this season, coming on as a late substitute against Liverpool.

He has even failed to make the squad at times and there was reported to be interest from the Hammers in the summer, with an enquiry made about his availability. Crystal Palace were interested in resigning Wan-Bissaka for £10m, but United bought him for £40m, so they were reluctant to accept such a bid.

However, his lack of minutes means that he could be made available for transfer in January and Wan-Bissaka is said to be keen on a return to London after struggling to settle up north following his move away from Selhurst Park.

In total, he has played 127 times for United since joining in 2019.
