Report: Hammers explore Sporting Lisbon transfer conditions

West Ham have made contact with Sporting CP about a potential deal for Jovane Cabral according to a report from A BOLA

The 22-year-old Cabral has been turning heads with some fantastic performances for Sporting late in the season.

Fulham had a €10m (£9m) bid rejected for the winger, with Sporting valuing him closer to €20m (£18m).

The latest report suggests West Ham have made ‘exploratory contacts’ to learn the conditions of a transfer.

A BOLA reveals that Sporting will listen to offers for any player assuming they are reasonable.

And if a bid of £18m or thereabouts arrives for Cabral, the Cape Verde star could be on his way out of Lisbon.

Jovane Cabral has scored six goals and made three assists in 29 appearances for Sporting Lisbon this season. He has a release clause of €60m.

Manchester United are also said to hold some interest in the 22-year-old winger.

  1. I thought Sporting would no longer deal with us after the William Cavallo saga.

  2. No point in trying to buy a player from Sporting while the Daves are at the helm. I believe it was their chairman that came up with the “Brothers” moniker .
