Report: Hammers eye former Chelsea kid

551bf7cd3b8a4_98751654Former Chelsea youth star Jacopo Sala is today reported as being on the West Ham radar.

The Italian has been doing wrll with  Verona this season, both in a midfield and right wing-back role.

And  Gianluca DiMarzio claims that the Hammers, Liverpool and Tottenham have all watched him this term.

Sala joined Chelsea in 2007 and spent four yeas in the club’s academy but after failing to make a breakthrough he joined Hamburg in 2011..

After two seasons in the Bundesliga, where he made 21 appearances and scored once, he switched back to Verona in his homeland.

The 23 year old won the FA Youth Cup with Chelsea in 2010.
