West Ham are said to be eyeing a swoop to sign defender Luca Pellegrini from Juventus this summer, according to a new report.
Corriere dello Sport claims that the Irons are lining up a possible bid for the full-back in this transfer window.
Pellegrini is 23 and made a total of 15 starts for the Italian giants last season.
The Irons and Fulham have both been linked with an interest in signing the once-capped Italy international.
There hasn’t been any contact between the two clubs yet, while there is said to be a gap between the Hammers and Pellegrini’s wage demands.
There is no mention of a potential fee for Pellegrini but he has a contract that runs until 2025; he is valued at £8.1m by Transfermarkt.
It remains to be seen if the Irons will pursue a bid for the Juventus defender but there may be a pursuit of a new left-back if Arthur Masuaku is allowed to leave.
