Report: Hammers in for striker

West Ham want to sign Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla, according to a report in Spain.

AS claims that the Irons are continuing to monitor the Morocco international after attempting to secure his signature in two previous transfer windows.

An offer worth in excess of £30m was tabled in January of last year but he ultimately elected to stay in Spain.

The Spanish newspaper now claims that there remains interest from the Hammers in securing his signature and they could return for him this summer.

En-Nesyri has struggled somewhat for form this season as he scored just five goals in La Liga but Moyes is desperate to sign a new striker this summer and we know he holds an interest in En-Nesyri.

Whether he would be willing to move to England, finally, is unclear at this point, but the Irons would have to make a bid to find out.

Keep an eye on this one, as it could well have some legs.

  1. if they keep trying to pirate our interest in players, especially areola, we should lead them on by putting in a bid for roberto, yes, you must remember him . lol.

  2. Let’s see if his mate signs today, am hoping we go in for Lewis-Potter but ideally we need two strikers so him and LP would be good, although I doubt based on previous evidence he wants to leave and that we can agree a price.

  3. Hammers buy the lad. He failed to score many for Sevilla, but it wasn’t for the want of trying. Given the service at the Hammers, he could score a lot.

  4. We’d better let Newcastle know then.

  5. Good signing especially if we get aguard done when moyes wakes up.
