Report: Hammers linked to “priority” striker target

West Ham are now being reported to be making Rennes forward  Martin Terrier a priority target.

Leading French outlet L’Equipe per Hammers News claim the 25-year-old forward is a ‘recruitment priority’ for Hammers boss David Moyes.

Moyes is clearly very keen to bolster his attacking ranks this summer. And it seems as though the Scot is eyeing yet another addition to his forward line at the London Stadium

Terrier bagged 21 goals and four assists in 37 Ligue 1 games for Rennes last season (Transfermarkt).

Much like his name suggests, the Frenchman is a hard-working, tenacious forward. He has bags of pace, is a good finisher and is very strong in the air.

The player is valued at around €40 million (£34 million) and should the rumour be true we have little doubt that former team mate Nayef Aguerd will have spoken on his behalf.

This appeared to be the case when we signed Vladi Coufal with Tomas Soucek’s opinion apparently should on the defender.
