Report: Hammers linked with Mark Noble replacment

|

A report by Eurosport claims Josh Brownhill from Burnley is likely to become a target of David Moyes as he is seen as a player with traits similar to Mark Noble.

Brownhill was born in Warrington, Cheshire and a former Warrington Town and Manchester United schoolboy player, Brownhill joined the Preston North End youth team at the start of the 2012–13 season, making his first team debut as a substitute in 2013.

In 2016 Brownhill would join Bristol City on a two-year deal upon his contract expiry at Preston North End.

Brownhill signed for Premier League club Burnley in 2020 for £9m, last month he insisted that his future lies at Burnley, despite reported interest from Premier League rivals Aston Villa, West Ham and Wolves,

Talking to Sky Sports he said “There’s a lot of people who will talk, but you tend to not listen to them. I’m here at Burnley and my main goal is to do well here and to keep the club in the Premier League. Then it’s onto next season and to progress even more. Whatever people talk about, it’s not for me to listen. It’s up to me to crack on with my work and to work hard here.”

He does look a good prospect, we should go all out for Ward-Prowse also we need playmakers.
