West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has identified Aaron Lennon as a target if he fails to land Kevin Mirallas as a replacement for Stewart Downing.
According to London Evening Standard reporter and long term Hammers fan Ken Dyer, Lennon could well be an alternative.
Everton are said to have already rejected a £6m bid from West Ham for Mirallas and with just a year left on his Spurs contract, 28-year-old Lennon could be headed for a switch to the east end after a spell on loan at Everton last term.
So Everton didnt want him & Spurs are happy to let him go.. these are clubs we are trying to climb upto and above of. I dont get excited by this and I dont want to do any deals with Spurs
BIG NO from me
Pls no.No,No,No!!!!!!!!!
No way he’s rubbish and we don’t want Spurs cast offs
Old news, Levy won’t sell us anything and who cares about these reject spuds, Lennon is another Shaun Wright-Phillips, inconsistent and a headless chicken 1 or two seasons away from a move to the MLS. Mirallas on the other hand produces something most games and can also score goals he would be a trade up.
In the name of he/she who can’t be mentioned because it’s superstitious please NOOO!!!! Apart from being a spud, they rate him at £9M and I wouldn’t give Levy the steam from my pi$$…..oh and he’s useless with no end product
Don’t see him in our side and he is so inconsistent,
We are playing the game with the spuds they want to use him as bait for Miralles he does not want to leave London,
But it’s a NO from me
Would rather have Townsend in my team any day.
Is that a quote from Roger Daltry bruv? 😉
Yeah, we’re signing Lennon this week and Linda McCartney back in next week, Liverpool based source Pete Best said he was happy that they are reforming and has no bad feelings
All ‘ammers latest transfer news can be found in NME this week
Matt jarvis has been playing fantastic in the Europa cup full of energy and a hunger to impress. Why even talk about Lennon waste money and a spurs player gosh don’t get me started on that one. Personally ill stick with Jarvis.
