Report: Hammers make enquiry

West Ham have asked about signing Ola Aina from Torino but haven’t made a formal bid for the player, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper reports that there is interest from the Hammers in signing the former Chelsea youth ace.

Aina was born in London but has chosen to represent Nigeria at international level, and he played six times for the Blues under the management of Antonio Conte in 2016/17.

He joined Torino in 2019 and remains with the club, having made 96 appearances for them in total, while also winning 29 caps for Nigeria.

Aina has also gone on loan to Fulham previously and it now appears that the Irons could make an attempt to bring him back to the capital.

It remains to be seen if West Ham have time to do a deal, however, with the deadline fast approaching; the Irons have yet to do any business on deadline day thus far.
