West Ham have made an enquiry for Monaco midfielder Aleksandr Golovin this January.
The club have been linked with a potential deal for the Russia international via reports in Russia.
Everton are also said to be interested in a deal to secure his signature and have made contact over a potential offer in the January transfer window.
Sport Witness reports that they have been in contact with a source close to Golovin, who has told them that the two clubs are interested in doing a deal for his signature.
Monaco, though, would demand as much as €50m (£41.7m) to allow Golovin to leave, who remains a key member of the Monaco squad.
The 25-year-old has been with the principality club since 2018 and has made 23 appearances this season, scoring three goals and registering five assists.
A Russia international with 45 caps, Golovin is said to be willing to wait and see how the interest develops in relation to a potential move.
We can’t see this being one for January, though, given that David Moyes wants a central defender and a striker this month more than an attacking midfielder, especially given the price involved.
