AC Milan and West Ham United are reportedly battling for the signature of Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. According to Football Insider, West Ham are rumoured to have made an official inquiry for the defender as we seek to bolster our right-back position this summer. Meanwhile, Fichajes reports that AC Milan is also showing keen interest in the 26-year-old.

Multiple sources suggest that the Hammers have been in touch with the player’s agent, hinting that a deal might be on the horizon. While Claret & Hugh have yet to confirm these rumours, our top West Ham source did state today that the team are actively searching for a new right-back.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has had a mixed experience at Manchester United since his £50 million transfer from Crystal Palace in July 2019. As he enters the final year of his contract, thee full-backs future at Manchester United remains uncertain. West Ham have reignited their interest in Wan-Bissaka following Ben Johnson’s departure to Ipswich Town, but still retain an interest in Kyle Walker Peters from Southampton.

While Manchester United initially invested £50 million in Wan-Bissaka, West Ham are reportedly considering a bid of around £15 million, significantly less than the original fee.

£15_20m is realistic to get a deal done! Hes a good player and only 26 years old,he wants to play for west ham as well which is a big plus!!!!

  • Ogbozor Obinna says:

He should be sold at leat 20-25 million pounds and the money used to buy another attack minded right back.

  • John Ayris says:

As stated in the article he has one year left on his contract, his value is accordingly a lot down on what United paid for him and they will have written his value down year on year accordingly.

The salient point is that this window his value is down, next window his value is massively down, next Summer he’s worth zilch unless he were to sign another contract.

A bid of £15M or even less would be a realistic opening gambit.
