West Ham are reported to be set for a move aimed at bringing Montpellier’s Gaetan Laborde to the London Stadium before the transfer window closes.’ as David Moyes desperately tries to bring in a striker.
It looks as though this may turn into a last gasp effort to fill the hole left behind by the departure of Sebastan Haller to Ajax.
The Hammers have been linked – incredibly – with nearly 30 striker, that’s almost one a day., since the window opened and this isn’t the first time Laborde has been mentioned.
With the Hammers moving to bring in Jesse Lingard, the possible arrival of Laborde on loan would be a relief to the club and fans as the hunt for a Haller replacement has regularly appeared to hot the skids

According to Le10 Sport, the Hammers have been watching him for several months and have been impressed by his performances.
He has provided six goals and six assists in 21 Ligue 1 games this season, forming a devastating partnership with team-mate Andy Delort.
However, that suggests that he may not necessarily be a one-up striker and the added issue maybe that he would be unhappy to play second fiddle behind Mike and miss out on regular first team football.
However, it is claimed Montpellier have set a strict deadline of Friday (January 29) to get a deal done so negotiations do not edge closer to Monday’s deadline day.
Doubt it… Wait for a He Chan announcement.
Hee-Chan wants loan but Nagelsmann is now saying he needs to see more of him with him missing time & training bc bad cause of COViD. He understands he wants game time but they need 2 more strikers in to to send him out to make it best for them….
He wants to move but Nagelsmann might prevent it. Dia at £13m I still really like especially when you consider his only been playing pro football for 2 & half seasons. He was working as Electrician playing non league & taking teails. After trail at Reims they signed him 18/29 scored 6-7 goals in first sesosn no bad imo, then 8 in 24 last season which some say is bad but would of hit 10+ but Ligue 1 was canceled & now 12 in 19 so has about 27 goals in 60 games not bad average at all. If love En-Nesyri this his is breakout season too with 12 league goals also but he has UCL downs want move has 130+ La Liga games 35 so goals. Dia Di a hard worker counter plays counter attacking style pace clincal gets in behind & players like him who don’t come up through academies & don’t give up are player we love & Moyes does. I think if would pay £33m for En-Nesyri which was rejected President said & first bid was £9m for Dia why not pay £4m more especially if he really was Moyes first or second Choice. I’d prefer to Maja & seems like his attitude would suit us has that work rate & hungry. We will continue to monitor maybe hi back in summer but if hits 20 will cost £20m. We will end up paying £4m in loan fees for two players anyhow. And for some reason celebrated making Iron arms twice fate…
