Report: Hammers sign striker

|

fletcher-726-july-12The Irons have agreed a £1m deal for Ashley Fletcher having come to terms with Manchester United without the necessity for a tribunal hearing as a free signing.

But West Ham have now made a fresh offer and that may now also allow Slaven Bilic to pick the 21-year-old striker on a more regular basis.

Fletcher has started just two Premier League games for West Ham and regular games could have pushed his price up.

With Slaven Bilic generally favouring a one-up formationhe had dropped Fletch to the Development Team which has presumably helped in keeping the player’s price down

The player said: “This is a great club with fantastic fans, if the boss calls on me to help the team then I will give everything to help the boys.”
