Report: Hammers’ striker target wanted by PL duo

West Ham have been linked with a potential swoop for Luka Jovic previously but it appears that two new Premier League clubs are now eyeing the Real Madrid striker.

The Hammers were last linked with a deal to sign the Serbia international in the summer.

But it now appears that there is rival interest from two other Premier League clubs: Arsenal and Everton.

Marca reports that Jovic wants to leave Real, with boss Carlo Ancelotti not convinced by his attributes. Jovic has not made a single start in La Liga this season.

Both Premier League clubs want a new striker and are considering a swoop for the forward, even though a deal may be difficult to do.

There is also interest from Italy, as AC Milan keep an eye on his situation, while Borussia Dortmund are also monitoring developments from Germany.

In total, Jovic has made 49 appearances for Real but he has only scored three goals.

  1. To be honest I don’t know many of the players we are allegedly in for, but I just hope that this window we get on with it early. No reason at all to wait till the end of the window, dithering, whilst Villa and Newcastle step in and make us look stupid. Villa got Digne and Coutinho last time when there was ‘nobody’. Finger out please!
