West Ham are reported to have shown an interest in signing Jefferson Savarino.

The Real Salt Lake player is said to be available for transfer this summer at a sum of £6million and has caught many eyes due to a good season in the MLS

Playing 13 games he has racked up three goals and two assists.

The South American is currently on  duty for Venezuela during the Copa America, and scouts will be lurking and noting during the Brazil game on Wednesday.

The Hammers have got potential competition with Newcastle also looking at Jefferson.

The boss is keen to have cover in all positions and Savarino may become a challenger to  Andriy Yarmolenko on the right side should the boss deide to pursue his interest in the 22 year old.
