Report: Hammers to make second bid for Mirallas

MirallesWest Ham will return for Kevin Mirallas  with a second bid this week after their £6million bid was rejected over the weekend claims Darren Lewis in the Daily Mirror.

The Hammers are keen to land the 27-year-old target and see him as the perfect replacement for 30-year-old Stewart Downing who joined Middlesborough last week says Lewis.

Everton are understood to have admitted defeat in their fight to keep Mirallas and have placed a £8million valuation for his services.

The Belgian has just a year left on his contract but, despite attempts to tie him to a new deal, he has refused to commit his future to the Goodison Park side.

  1. Lets try and get this signing sorted by the end of the week, then sort out song and spend the rest of the transfer window deciding on a striker, then as far as im concerned, we’re prepared for the season

  2. I’m not sure on this one,yes he’s good but easily gets the hump. I’d say we need another RB too salesb

  3. I think he would be a fantastic addition and at 27 and if we do go up to the £8m then it is still only an additional £2m on the price we got for Downing who is 4 years older, cracking bit of business. We would have one very impressive midfield and a nice major headache for Billic.
Payet, Kouyate, Noble, Obiang, Amalfetano, Poyet, Jarvis, Nolan, possibly Mirallas, Song as well and we have allegedly Diarra training with us and available on a free. I would ship out Nolan and Jarvis just to get them off the wage bill even if it was for a nominal fee.
This is a seriously good looking and exciting midfield.

  4. I agree about the potential of the midfield and we’re now being linked to Veli Kavlak an Austrian from Besiktas. But offloading KN in particular is not going to be easy I can’t think of anyone who’d want him unless he dipped quite a bit to become player-manager which seeing as he can’t play and his knowledge of management comes from BFS seems highly unlikely.

  5. If he comes good if he does not no problem he is not going to invent the wheel,
    Now what have I said
They will be googling wheel on wetpants now confused what that has to do with football,
Bradders will be drawing a square as we speak

    • ……….and you will report it.
      You’re obsessed man…totally obsessed 🙂

      • Fobyac your back… Now I said something about Mirrales on October 13th 2014 about being a good signing, you probably remember it vividly and jotted in down somewhere so I need to be careful that I don’t contradict myself, I think he would be a great addition to our squad unfortunately I don’t have any statistical knowledge about his minute to goal ratio or the circumference of his head or feet but for 8 million would be a good acquisition.

  6. Sell slow Kevin and take this Kevin…;-)

  7. fobyac you must have sore little fingers and brain all this thinking in one day,
Feel like your love for me is getting a bit strange now,
Go back where you are wanted on your second best site, your friends will be missing you,
How many wheels have you drawn ?
