Report: Hammers track Spanish attacker

West Ham are reportedly interested in Espanyol attacker Adrian Embarba.

According to Spanish outlet AS the Hammers, as well as Wolves, Norwich City and Watford, are tracking Embarba.

The 29-year-old winger has been crucial to Espanyol’s promotion-winning season in the Segunda Division scoring nine goals and making 14 assists for the Spanish club this season. The attacker’s current deal with the Barcelona-based club is due to expire in 2023.

The Madrid born player joined Espanyol for £9m last year but could be available for £10m this summer.

Levante and Real Betis are also keen on the 29-year-old who has caught the attention of many clubs last season.

Embarba finished his youth development with local Getafe CF after youth spells with neighbouring Real Madrid and RSD Alcalá. He made his senior debut in the 2011–12 season with CD Marchamalo in Castile-La Mancha.

In 2013, Embarba joined Rayo Vallecano where he played until he moved to Espanyol last season.
