Report: Hammers want Spurs misfit

West Ham are interested in sealing a deal for Cameron Carter-Vickers this summer, according to a new report.

The centre-back is owned by Spurs but has spent the season on loan at Celtic.

He has been integral to their season, making a total of 42 appearances for the club, as they look poised to win the Scottish Premiership title; they sit six points clear of second-placed Rangers.

The USA international is set to return to Spurs at the end of the season, although the north London club do not have any plans to integrate him into the first-team squad.

90min reports that there is subsequently interest from Southampton and Fulham, while the Hammers, Crystal Palace, Everton and Wolves are all said to be keeping a close eye on developments.

He will only have one year left on his contract when he returns to Spurs, so he could well be available for a knock-down fee.
