West Ham United will be starting their Championship campaign with a severe lack of pace, if summer plans are realised and Crysencio Summerville heads off into the – Italian – distance. The Hammers winger has been linked with AS Roma amongst many others and with a World Cup shop window ready for his sparkle, more than likely the suitors will be banging the door down at London Stadium in July.
Hopefully West Ham will have someone in place to handle their transfer deals by then.
Reported today the Hammers have been watching a Championship loanee winger who knocked in seven goals last season and who would, in part solve Nuno’s shortage of pace. With Adama Traore likely to exit this summer as his shot term contract has ended, the Irons face a problem with Keiber Lamadrid their only – untried – winger option . Massive recruitment required.
Derbytelegraph.co.uk claim the Hammers are the latest side angling for RB Salzburg’s winger Bobby Clark, who spent the season on loan at Derby County. Apparently half a dozen sides are now interested in the former Liverpool player who left Anfield in 2024.

West Ham considering steaming in with a bid for Derby’s on-loan Bobby Clark
“On the back of no pre-season preparation Clark improved quickly and ended up making 33 starts. However, that has not gone unnoticed with the Rams’ rivals and after one report suggesting West Ham could be interested, DerbyshireLive has learned they aren’t the only ones.”
Clark was named young Derby County player of the season and has been featured in a number of reports linking him with West Ham, ExWHUEmployee being the most recent to confirm the Hammers interest just yesterday.
That’s our major recruitment problem. It’s no good watching players now they are all sitting on a beach sipping cocktails. We should be watching them during the season!! 😊⚒️⚒️
