Report: Huge Broja update

|

Armando Broja is now set to fly out to Chelsea’s pre-season tour of the United States of America, as per David Ornstein of The Athletic.

The journalist, who is one of the most trusted insiders when it comes to transfer news, has reported that the Albania international is poised to fly to the US this week.

Broja has been identified as one of David Moyes’ top targets as he bids to strengthen the squad this summer, while there is also interest in Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca.

Broja was initially left out of the tour, sparking hopes that a deal was nearing completion.

But he is now set to make the journey to the States and will hope to play a role in Chelsea’s friendlies under boss Thomas Tuchel.

Both the Hammers and Everton are said to be pursuing a deal to sign Broja but there have not yet been any developments over a transfer.

It seems surprising that talks weren’t able to progress with any clubs on Broja that no bids were accepted or even made, maybe Chelsea did ask for ridiculous money and are hoping that he scores a few goals on tour to up his asking price that will help raise money for other targets they have.

They either want to do a deal or they don’t , they should decide by now . Can’t keep hoping and keep hanging on just in case .

We should stop wasting our time and get someone else in like Sciamacca.
Chelsea don’t need to sell and if Broja’s that good why would they want to move him on?

Is it me! This transfer saga is beyond a joke. I have never known such a long drawn out load of tosh coming out of the club. Linked with this, linked with that…… pretty much nothing will happen and once again a 1 striker squad. Laughable

I don’t know why the club find transfers do difficult. Don’t they understand, you just have to fire up the laptop, open the player profile, click on the edit button and select ‘Move to my club’ option, and voila! Transfer completed.

Oh wait…this is real life lol
