West Ham are again reported to interested in signing Moussa Dembele from Lyon this summer, according to France Football via Sport Witness.
The Hammers have long been linked with a potential move for the striker, who made his name at Celtic.
Dembele has yet to score a goal or register an assist this season but he has 44 goals in total to his name for the French club along with 13 assists.
Dembele’s current contract runs until 2023, meaning Lyon are facing a decision over whether they should cash in while his value remains high, or attempt to convince him to stay.
West Ham are said to be monitoring the situation closely ahead of a possible bid, having failed to sign a striker in the summer transfer window.
As it stands, David Moyes is currently relying on Michail Antonio and Seb Haller and ClaretandHugh understands that Josh King is the No 1 option.
However, Dembele has history of playing in England, having previously featured for Fulham, but he has only ever made two Premier League appearances.
