Report: Irons ‘£15m’ target draws Bundesliga interest

Liverpool are set to recall loanee Rhys Williams in this transfer window, paving the way for Nat Phillips to leave.

Phillips has been heavily linked with an exit from Anfield and there is said to be interest from a variety of clubs, including the Hammers and Bundesliga clubs.

He has slipped way down the pecking order at Anfield since the returns of both Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez to full fitness.

The 24-year-old wants to play regular football, per Goal, and Liverpool want £15m for the centre-back.

They are already said to have rejected a bid from Watford in this transfer window, which would have been a loan to buy deal.

Moderate RaterBurnley and Newcastle are also said to be interested, whilst the German clubs are also apparently monitoring his situation.

The Hammers will likely have to move quickly if they want to do a deal for Phillips, and it is almost certain that he will be allowed to leave in this window.
