Report: Irons agree deal

West Ham have agreed a deal to sign Luizao from Sao Paulo, according to a new report from 90min.

The Hammers are said to have struck an agreement with the Brazilian side that will see Luizao join the club once his contract expires at the end of January.

The Sao Paulo management have previously confirmed that Luizao is likely to leave and it appears the Irons have struck a deal ahead of a clutch of other European clubs.

Benfica, Sporting, Porto, Fulham, Wolves, and Juventus are all said to have been interested in signing Luizao but he looks poised to move to the London Stadium instead.

90min claims that he has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Irons and will link up with the club at the end of next month.

He has not yet been awarded a work permit but he looks likely to get one ahead of his move.

That could well be the green light for Craig Dawson to leave.
