Report: Irons eyeing two Football League aces

West Ham are eyeing up two potential signings from the Football League.

The Athletic reports that the Irons are on the lookout for further new signings after bringing Nayef Aguerd in from Rennes.

Per the website, Middlesbrough defender Isaiah Jones is one player of interest, as he can play at right-back and at wing-back; he laid on nine assists last season.

Jones did sign a new contract until 2025 earlier this season, meaning he may not be a cheap player to extricate from the Riverside Stadium.

Another linked with the club is Hull City’s Keane Lewis-Potter.

The winger has impressed during his time with the Championship side and recently made his debut for England’s U21 side.

The Athletic reports that there is interest from the Hammers in securing Lewis Potter’s signature but they are yet to turn that into a serious pursuit, with no kind of bid or talks being held as of yet.

  1. I hope we sign Keane Lewis-Potter, very exciting talent looks like he could do what Bowen did and he probably has more skill and ability than Bowen, Very intelligent player and a handful for defenders. Broja is a real question mark as Chelsea will be concerned that he will come back to haunt them, who knows how that will transpire either way signing him and Lewis-Potter will give us options.
