Report: Irons in for Ligue 1 ace

|

West Ham are eyeing a deal to sign Strasbourg striker Ludovic Ajorque this summer, according to a new report in France.

The forward has been in excellent form for the club this season, scoring 12 goals in 33 games and also laying on a total of eight assists.

He is a tall, rangy forward, standing at 6ft 4in tall and is able to link the play and finish moves off as well.

La Voix du Nord claims that there is interest from fellow French club Lille, but that the Irons are also weighing up a potential bid in the next transfer window.

The report claims that the Irons have scouted Ajorque before but eventually opted against making a bid, with Strasbourg not willing to sell him in January.

The 28-year-old is said to be valued at £12.6m ahead of the summer, a fee that is more than affordable for the Irons should they wish to follow up that initial interest.
