Report: Irons ready to move for Bundesliga ace

|

West Ham are ready to make a bid to sign Filip Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt, according to a new report.

A report in Italy from La Lazio Siamo Noi claims that the Irons are keeping a very close eye on the Serbia international, as he is poised to leave the Bundesliga club.

Kostic has been with Frankfurt since 2019 and has made 158 appearances for the club, scoring 30 goals and laying on 60 assists.

He is also a full Serbia international with 44 caps under his belt, and his contract is set to expire next summer, meaning that Frankfurt may seize their chance to cash in when the transfer window reopens.

Along with West Ham, there is plenty of interest from Italy, with Lazio, Roma, Fiorentina, and Inter Milan all said to be interested in a swoop.

Kostic is 29 and is valued at £18m by Transfermarkt, but that figure is likely to be negotiable given his contract status.
