Report: Macca stays!

MaccaNeil MacDonald has decided to stay at Upton Park – at least according to a report in The Sun!

The Hammers assistant boss has been linked with a move to Carlisle United throughout the week but according to the newspaper, insiders have told them he’s going nowhere.

As reported here, Macca was manager of the Carlisle seven years ago but was sacked after a season and the newspaper now claims he will not be returning to the club.

Macdonald has worked with Allardyce over two spells and the stories of a move started circulating after Carlisle sacked Graham Kavanagh following the 4-4 draw against AFC Wimbledon last Saturday.
