Report: Man City eyes come off Rice

Declan Rice of West Ham warms up before the Premier League match between Manchester United and West Ham United at Old Trafford on April 13, 2019 in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Manchester City are this morning being linked with a move for Benfica’s Florentino Luis which potentially would be good news for the Irons.
According to Gianlucadimarzio.com Pep Guardiola is ready to move in on the 19 year old as a future long term replacement for Fernandiho.
However, Florentino at 19 can hardly be the finished article and has made a limited number of appearances for Benfica.
But having said that he is a highly promising individual and has represented Portugal from under 15 level to under 20s and is valued at between £15m – £20m.
Like Rice, in his own country he is becoming rated as a future world star and one who has caught the eye of various top clubs so it would be no surprise to see City move in.
West Ham have a £75 million plus valuation on Rice who is only a few months into a six year contract and whose price will only get higher.
And that could be too rich even for City’s blood with the player expressing regularly his desire to remain at West Ham and learn his trade with regular Premier League football.
