Report: Moyes keen on German defender loan

West Ham hopes to get Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea in a loan deal says Alan Nixon in the Sun on Sunday.

The Germany centre-half is worried about his role at Chelsea and the amount of game time he might get this season ahead of the Euro 2020 finals next year.

The tabloid report says the Hammers are keen to take Rudiger for the season and will pay good money to take him on loan.

Nixon says Chelsea may prefer to sell the 27-year-old but if that plan fails then David Moyes will attempt a season-long loan.

According to the Daily Mail , Paris Saint-Germain have also made an approach for the German. The French champions want to loan Rudiger for the season, but include an option to buy clause in the deal. Barcelona have also been named as a potential landing spot, but Chelsea would prefer to sell on a permanent basis.
