It’s past midday and we still await news from the club that David Moyes has indeed signed a new three year deal with the club.

It’s well on the record that’s the case with talkSPORT now confirming what the Telegraph reported last night – that the deal is done.

But whilst The Telegraph claimed they had been tipped off the deal would be announced today the radio station is now saying it is likely to be made next week.

We had additional information from a club insider adding that the deal had never been in doubt and that it was A ok for an announcement .

However that has not appeared so far today although we have a few hours for it to be done unless Talksport’s version of events turns out to be the case and it comes next week.

They say ” The move puts an end to the speculation linking the Scot with a return to Everton, who are on the hunt for a new boss following Carlo Ancelotti’s return to Real Madrid..”
