Report: RVP offered to Hammers

rvpThirty two year old Robin van Persie is at the centre of rumours that he has been offered to West Ham United after making it clear he wants a return to the Premier League.

A report in the national media declares: “His representatives have offered him around to numerous clubs but the Dutch star is believed to want to move his family back to London.”

And Fenerbahce president Azil Yildirim said earlier this week: “Van Persie? We’re waiting for buyers, if he wants to be sold.”

Van Persie managed 14 goals from 29 games for the Turkish outfit last season and the suggestion that he has been offered around is no big surprise.

CandH has no confirmation of interest or otherwise from the club but will follow up on it. However, for the record this would most certainly not be the marquee signing for which we are waiting.

  1. Wheres Matte this morning. Is he on his way to Hamburg with his Pasta Boy mafia lol

  2. were not a retirement home anymore RVP no thanks big teeth big ego big wages come on G & S you can do alot better than this

  3. Yes please! As long he is happy to be a super sub, he could be a very shrewd signing for 4m. Had fantastic technical ability (not seen much of him in Turkey, but let’s hope the old adage about class being permanent is as true as ever) and was one of the best strikers in the league when he had the likes of fabregas behind him. With dimi there instead, I’m sure he’ll have a few opportunities. If we could get 5-10 [important] goals from him I’d be very happy plus he brings experience of the highest levels.

And best of all, if we only spend 4m on RVP we could spend the rest of the budget on an audacious bid for Higuain!

  4. No rather have Carlton back

  5. Yes norfolkhammer it is always a good judge of a player’s ability..the size of their teeth
