Diafra Sakho has been arrested on suspicion of assault, it has been reported.
The 25-year-old was reportedly arrested last Thursday, three days before West Ham’s shock 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the Premier League.
Police held the sportsman on suspicion of attacking a girlfriend in east London, The Sun reported
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Officers from Tower Hamlets have arrested a man on suspicion of common assault, criminal damage and malicious communication.
“The 25-year-old was arrested on Thursday 6 August at an address in Emerson Park, Hornchurch.
“He was taken to an east London police station and has been bailed to a date in late September.”
They will all be pushing Slav to drop him under his Zero Policy just because it will hurt the club and if he does not they will call Slavs policy rubbish,

innocent until proven guilty. can we remember this please. As stated there was an allegation against him for damage, malicious comms and common assault. it is not stated that he actually did this – it was just alleged. the police will have to investigate to confirm all details. if he was in anyway in trouble do you think that he would have played against the Gunners with Slav’s zero tolerance policy?
If he did assault anyone then he needs to be punished to the full extent of the law, same as anyone that uses violence against another.
We are not in possession of all the facts here so it is just paper talk at the moment and any supposition on this is just damaging to the guys reputation.
By the way not excusing any actions there, if they are proven true, in this or any case. Just that he hasn’t physically harmed anyone and isn’t a woman beater. Barton on the other hand, is a convict.
Woman beater? No the charges would be more serious if he had actually physically assaulted her in some way, like a S47 (ABH) or S18 (GBH). In other words, she may have been in fear of violence from Sakho, rather than he actually committed any act of violence. Criminal damage? Broke her phone or something? Malicious comms? Sent a text calling her something derogatory? Doubt this will go any further.
Even if he is charged i bet the charges will be dropped & his girlfriend doesnt pursue it.Thats the noramal route these things take.Then all the Barton Thug gang can go back to calling Sakho a good boy who would never have touched his girlfriend,haha.Same as Morrison,guilty as sin but innocent because his gf dropped everything,lol
To be fair to the lad he aint be charged.Could be innocent.Pretty sure the charges will be dropped anyway.Prem players seem to have a way of making these things go away.Money can achieve many things 😉
