Sam Allardyce is pretty well convinced he won’t get his No 1 Hammers target – James Tomkins – next month but may try along with a move for James Collins.
The former Irons manager is down to three senior central defenders – John O’Shea, Younes Kaboul and Sebastian Coates – with Wes Brown, 36, struggling with a knee problem.
And according to The People, he would love to land Tomkins, 26, but could try tempting us with a knockdown offer for James Collins, 32, who is out of contract next summer.
Allardyce told the Sunday People: “Wes is not fit, he’s got a bit of a knee problem, and we haven’t got another centre-back.
“If we had a problem in that area, we’d have to go back to a back-four.’’
Our number 1 right back needs to stay,if Ginge goes Burke can be recalled or Henry and we have Oxford,
If it was me I would sell the fat one nada,he can sign Nolegs still
Umm – isn’t Mark Curtis, Big Fat Sam’s Agent, the players Agent as well – could be a problem!
Pppffffffttttttt got one chance amd it’s NONE
