Report: Scamacca set for summer departure

By Gonzo

Sources in the Italian media are claiming Napoli are considering the signing of Gianluca Scamacca from West Ham United. This follows earlier reports (as covered in below) that the player has been dismissed by his agents following ‘trust issues’.

Italian media outlet CalcioMercato.it are now running a story about the Hammers £35m striker, they claim the 24-year-old is ‘not convinced’ he should stay at the London Stadium beyond this season.

It is also claimed there had already been reservations regarding his move to East London, as he’d have preferred to have remained in Italy or moved to Paris Saint Germain.

The Italian media are reporting that the Hammers will be letting him move on a loan in June with a right to buy, which quite frankly I find hard to believe.

CalcioMercato.it added that Scamacca ‘very probably’ would like to return to Italy, with the likes of Inter Milan, Lazio and Napoli interested in him.

  1. MOYES TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT – CAN’T HANDLE STRIKERS.

TENS & TENS OF MILLIONS £ WASTED AND RELEGATION A REAL THREAT.

    HALLER
    VLASIC
SCAMACCA (if he goes. The guy is a born striker)

    Antonio is a winger!

  2. If there is any truth in this then it is just another example of how poor Moyes man management is, he sticks to a system irrespective if that system does not suit or get the best out of the players. We have all wanted to see Scanacca with Antonio up top all season. Have we seen it once, no. Have we seen Scamacca with a benrahna as a 10, close to him, no. Have we seen Scamacca and divan, no. He has to go in the summer and I really hope its clear to the board.
