Report: Striker free transfer still a possibility

|

West Ham could sign Andrea Belotti from Torino on a free transfer this summer, with the rumour gathering yet more steam in Italy.

The striker appears set to leave the club for nothing at the end of the season, with his contract expiring.

Belotti has played for the Italian side since 2015 and has scored 110 goals in total across 247 appearances.

He has somewhat struggled with injury this season but has netted five times in 18 games, and there seems to be plenty of interest in his signature.

The Hammers are said to hold a very real interest in bringing Belotti to England, per TuttoMercatoWeb, with David Moyes on the hunt for a cheap solution to the club’s forward woes.

On the other hand, though, there is also interest from fellow Serie A side Atalanta.

Ultimately, it may well depend on whether Belotti is willing to leave Italy or not when the window is open.
