Report: United & City eye West Ham youngster

Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly tracking West Ham goalkeeper Nathan Trott.

The 19-year-old joined the Irons last summer and has already emerged as one of the fastest rising talents in the English game, playing for the England Under-19 team that won the European Championship last summer.

And the Daily Mirror claim that United, City and RB Leipzig are all keeping tabs on Trott’s contract situation as they ponder moves.

Trott was wanted by a host of clubs on loan in the summer, but the Irons decided to keep him on as their third-choice stopper.

His current contract expires in 18 months and it is understood that the Hammers are desperate to tie him down to fresh terms.

Trott has yet to play a senior game for the Hammers, though he has played a host of games for the Under-23 side.
