Report: West Ham and Lazio just £4m apart

|

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has changed his story yet again on Felipe Anderson now saying the two sides are just £4m apart in their valuations of the player. Earlier this week the Sky Italia Journo said the deal was done with Lazio and it would be announced within 48 hours only to backtrack just 24 hours later saying there had been an eleventh-hour hitch.

Di Marzio on his own website last night now conveniently claims there has been a slight slowdown in negotiations over the past few hours. He says ‘The English club, in fact, did not accept the conditions of Lazio of 35 million Euros + 5m Euros of add-ons. Furthermore, Lazio wants to review the percentage of possible future resale. He says negotiations will continue in the hope of finding an agreement for the transfer of Felipe Anderson to West Ham’

The report has caused others to speculate that the deal is close again but CLaret and Hugh understand that is not the case and little has changed.
