Report: West Ham show interest in Cardiff midfielder

Spanish news outlet Marca claims that Cardiff City on-loan midfielder Victor Camarasa is the subject of transfer interest from West Ham, Spurs, Everton and Leicester City.

With Real Betis reportedly ready to cash in on the 24-year-old. Cardiff hopes to keep hold of Camarasa for a while longer if they remain in the Premier League, but are resigned to losing him should they be relegated. The Bluebirds are currently five points from Premier League safety, with Camarasa having proved himself a key man this term.

He’s scored five vital goals against Leicester, West Ham and Arsenal as well as the strike that clinched a 1-0 lead for Cardiff against Chelsea at the weekend.

Camarasa joined Real Betis from Levante in 2017 for £6.25m, he was loaned to Cardiff on a season-long loan

His release clause is reported to be €24 million (£20.6m) however that Betis would accept a fee as low as €15m (£12.8m) to complete a permanent transfer this summer.
