Report: West Ham linked with another French striker

|
Corriere dello Sport claims West Ham have  made contact with Spezia regarding a potential move to sign French striker M’Bala Nzola in January. The 24-year-old has been on fire in Italy this season, scoring seven goals in 10 Serie A outings for Spezia

The Frenchman is an industrious striker, who is strong when playing with his back to goal but is also willing to make runs down the sides.

Nzola is a known good finisher with seven goals in 10 games. His current deal actually expires in the summer of 2023, but Spezia are keen to extend that to put themselves in a stronger position to ward off admirers,Spezia are unlikely to let the striker go on the cheap and that  could count out West Ham from the running with David Moyes admitting that financial resources are limited in the January transfer window and that many clubs will not be interested in letting their good players go in the middle of the pandemic.
