West Ham have started talks to look at the possibility to sign Boavista forward Alberth Elis according to a report from A Bola
He can be added to more than thirty striker names that have already been linked and is allegedly available for just €10 million (£8.6 million).
The 25-year-old attacking player can play as a winger or a centre forward and scored eight goals and made seven assists in 31 league games for Boavista last season.
He first played for the youth team of Real C.D. España in San Pedro Sula. He then moved to Olimpia, where he made his professional debut in 2013.
After 61 games and 25 goals with Olimpia, Elis joined Monterrey in 2016. After only 5 appearances and 0 goals or assists, Monterrey loaned Elis to MLS club Houston Dynamo
In September 2020, Elis was sold to Portuguese Primeira Liga club Boavista The terms of the transfer were undisclosed, but the fee was reportedly around $1 million-plus a future sell-on percentage along with performance-based add-on incentives.
Elis first represented Honduras at the U-17 level in 2013 and has going on to earn 42 caps at a senior level.
I would have thought that we need a gk to replace fab! Sam Johnstone is ideal should all out & sign him.
What we need is a prolific striker who can regularly get on the score sheet and furthermore give us an advantage in Europe. We need a massive improvement on our goal tally to make us to be serious title challengers
Sounds very average at best ?
As mentioned we need talented hard working attacking /strikers ..
Lets not waste more money …please!
Rather buy a up and coming Championship than over priced mediocre players with good agents
