Report: Wilshere becomes Irons target

Jack Wilshere tops West Ham's summer transfer list

Jack Wilshere has become the latest Hammers target according to a report in The Sun.

The out-of-favour Arsenal midfielder has spent this season on loan at Bournemouth but allegedly Slaven Bilic is considering a swoop for the England international.

The 25 hyear old  is out of contract at the end of next season and has been offered a new deal by Arsene Wenger.

The midfielder came off the bench against Southampton on Saturday and gave Bournemouth a bid to sign him although Wilshere says he is not thinking about his future beyond this season.

However, he is  not convinced he will get enough game time at the Emirates and  David Sullivan and David Gold are desperate to land a marquee signing and a top playmaker after losing Dimitri Payet to Marseille in January.

The Sun claims a source said: “West Ham want Jack and have put feelers out – which haven’t been rejected.”

  1. He is not good enough to command a first team spot at Bournemouth why should he be a target for us ?

  2. Perfect. He is just what we need.
    A chain smoking sick note.
