New name joins the transfer target list

Israeli press have suggested a new transfer target name to become a Hammer.

According to media outlet ‘One’ in Israel West Ham want to sign Red Bull Salzburg striker Moanes Dabour.

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with Sevilla and Crystal Palace.

The report claims that Palace bid 10 million pounds for him but it was rejected. Now they say West Ham will join the race in the next few days.

Salzburg are asking for about 20 million euros (£17.8m) for the player. Red Bull would prefer the player to remain with the Champions League qualifiers and say they are in no rush to sell.  Fiorentina and Leeds are have been linked in the past twelve months for the Israeli striker with Spurs and Arsenal previously sending scouts to watch him play in the Bundesliga.

He scored 29 goals in all competitions last season with 11 assists with 22 of those goals coming in the Austrian league. Dabour started his career in the Maccabi Nazareth and Maccabi Tel Aviv youth academies. In 2o14 Dabour moved to the Swiss Super League after Grasshopper Club Zürich paid a transfer fee of $425,000 to Maccabi Tel Aviv. Dabour joined Salzburg in 2016 for six million euros and was immediately loaned back to the Grasshoppers for the next season.

  1. Salzburg is a team of the Austrian Bundesliga. Distinct difference here 😉

  2. IMHO, this guy would be sensational-note that he strikes fast and directly, no mucking around; one touch goal-scorer..
The big question-would he be a better option to Moussa Marega?
Exciting times at the London Stadium!
