Reported Hammers target has dreadful stats

£40 million for an average player?

Here is a question for you. Should we buy a £40m midfielder from a club that has been relegated ?

The guy concerned has an average match rating of 6.63 accompanied by the frightening zeros in terms of assists and goals and a further averages of one aerial header won in per game and 0.3 blocks.

And unsurprisingly, received not a single Man of the match award.(Stats courtesy of whoscored)

Well, if we are to believe numerous reports the sad fact is that apparently we are indeed interested. The player in question is the American International and Leeds player, Tyler Adams

Now £40m will make a massive dent in our war chest and he is simply not good enough to be thought of a replacement for our departing Declan Rice.

Let us hope our new appointment, Tim Steidten, who as technical director will be in charge of scouting and recruitment knocks this one on the head quickly!
