The Hammers are preparing to offer Chiek Kouyate a new deal which would see him improve his wages and agree a two year extension.
The deal aims at bringing the midfield signing from Anderlecht last season up to the same pay level as two other newcomers at that time – Aaron Cresswell and Diafra Sakho.
But the Hammers told ClaretandHugh learned exclusively this morning that it’s unlikely the contract will be on the table before Christmas.
Kouyate is ready to sign the new deal which could include an option for a further two years on the four year contract he signed last summer.
We were told: “Chiek has done really well and we would be keen to sort something out which is of mutual benefit.”
Kouyate appeared in 31 games last season and was the Irons first goalscorer of the new season at Arsenal last Sunday.
T
31 games a season and it takes him all of six weeks to make what Carroll earns in a week.
Some guys have all the luck.
Kouyate is intregal to the squad and any future success for West Ham . Should get his new conditions sorted ASAP before The likes of Man Utd , Tottenham and Liverpool try to nick him .
My favourite Player without a doubt, I was even considering getting kouyate on the back of my top

This summer the top 4 teams will be sniffing around to sign him,
He deserves it 100%.Top player, will be well pleased with this if we sign him up for longer 😉
