The news that seems to be making the rounds about Declan Rice and a gentleman’s agreement with West Ham may seem familiar to anyone who reads C&H regularly!

That would be down to the fact that we told you Rice had reached an agreement with the Hammers over his future THREE MONTHS AGO!

We wrote on April 19th that the Irons had come to an agreement with Declan, and that he would not be leaving this summer, and would, in fact, be remaining at the club for at least one more season.

We also made it clear there is potential for him leaving next summer, and the Hammers have accepted that. The likely destination has always been Chelsea.

But this so-called new report that has come out of Talksport is nothing more than recycled news.

It is true but we were front and centre with this, telling you as much in April.
