Rice ready to knuckle down at West Ham

Declan Rice returned to pre-season training at West Ham yesterday and has not made any demands to leave before the end of the current transfer window, despite turning down two contract offers reports Matt Law writing for the Daily Telegraph.

The report says the Hammers are yet to make a third contract offer, which would most likely be rejected in any case, and Rice is relaxed about his future and focussed on preparing for the new season.

Law is known to have connections close to Rice’s representives so this report shoulddd be given some credit.

There was no video of Rice arriving in the car park yesterday and no images of him in the gym being tested, the club insist Dec hasn’t done a Harry Kane and skippedĀ  the first day of training and claimed they just didn’t capture his return on camera adding there is no conspiracy.

There is no sugegstion that Rice would ever threaten to strike or not train in the way we have seen antics from Harry Kane and Matthes Pereira in the past twenty four hours.
