Declan Rice has shut down transfer speculation about England players including himself saying it would be disrespectful to speak about it.
The Hammer has insisted he has not been made aware of any transfer speculation during his time with the England squad this summer.
The 22-year-old West Ham player spoke about other players – as well as himself – being involved in transfer speculation and added that those potential deals can be sorted once the Euro 2020 tournament has reached its conclusion next month.
“I’m not lying, I’ve not seen a thing. As players it would be disrespectful to speak about it around other players,” Rice told the media.
“There is speculation about players going but the main focus at the moment is your country, trying to win this tournament.
“If players want to move on, that can be dealt with after the tournament.
“While we’re here, like Gareth has always said, you need to be strictly focused on what is happening here with England and whatever happens with the club takes care of itself after the tournament.”
At the beginning of this month, Rice was once again linked with a move to Chelsea where his career begun suggesting that his representatives were in informal talks with Chelsea intermediaries.
He has also been linked the Manchester United and even Manchester City but West Ham and David Moyes say he is not for sale and no formal bids have ever been received from any club.
