Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has stated that West Ham can expect significant late transfer activity as clubs eye potential bargains in East London.

The Italian journalist suggested that buying clubs are aware the Hammers have signed too many players and will be looking to take advantage with “late bids.”

West Ham are fully aware of this situation, which is why they have lined up and completed negotiations for at least two players, anticipating a late injection of funds.

Carlos Soler remains on standby, ready to join Julen Lopetegui’s revolution at a moment’s notice, but players need to leave the London Stadium first.

The Irons are bracing for late bids for Maxwel Cornet and Nayef Aguerd, while offers continue to arrive for striker Danny Ings.

However, as mentioned earlier, offers for James Ward-Prowse and possibly even Michail Antonio should not be ruled out at this time.

There is also a high likelihood that West Ham will have to fend off late, unwanted offers for Mexican midfielder Edson Álvarez.
